Frank Winters > This is the main photo for April. Its a scene near Nabnaset Lake as a walker approaches Shipley Swamp late in the day in the early spring. The subtle colors and moon evoke the day.
Frank Winters > A kingfisher about to strike Shipley Swamp. A lucky shot - he was right over head as I was trying to photography the Heron you can see in this gallery. I fortunately got them both! (This photo is fuzzy because I was handholding my 100 - 400 zoom. But I love the shot nevertheless. What do you think.
Frank Winters > A Heron fishes in Shipley Swamp. A secondary photo for April.
