A Timeless Place to Walk in East Boston Camps. (The April photo in the Westford Conservation Trust's 2006 calendar)
Stony Brook winds through this beautiful conservation land of nearly 300 acres. This recently acquired property is almost entirely wooded, with Burges Pond in the center, and has many existing trails, many eskers and an especially lovely footpath meandering along Stony Brook. Beavers, muskrats, ducks of various kinds and herons are among the local residents.
The past and present here unite/Beneath Times flowing tide
Like footprints hidden by a brook/But seen on either side.
