This gallery has some of the photo I used in designing the Westford Conservation Trust's 2008 calendar. They were all taken in conservation land in Westford. Enjoy! (And leave comments please!)
Snake Meadow Brook. The Snake Meadow Brook Trail is short yet it has the feeling of a mountain pass. It starts at Gould Road and proceeds along pastureland, then gets rocky as it goes into the woods besides the brook, ending at a glacial ledge. Walk there and see how the land has been chiseled by time. "What makes a brook or river so special? ... Rivers and brooks are special simply because they are brook, and they are rivers" -- Hal Borland
