This gallery has the photos used in the 2006 calendar published by the Westford Conservation Trust.
The Westford Conservation Trust was established in 1984 for the purpose of preserving open space and other natural resources. Westford is a beautiful town and is committed to a balance between development and conservation. The calendar was prepared to illustrate some of the results of that commitment.
The Westford Conservation Trust is a not for profit, volunteer organization that is supported solely by private contributions.
Acker Conservation Land After a Snow Storm. This is January's photo.
This is the first parcel of land donated to the trust. It's located at the intersection of Depot St. and Plain Rd. (see our Westford Trails booklet, available at the Roudenbush, or the Trust's web site for maps). Acker remains one of the most naturally beautiful areas of Westford. Walk along Stony Brook and reflect on the beauty of natural places and the creatures that inhabit them.
