This gallery has the photos used in the 2006 calendar published by the Westford Conservation Trust.
The Westford Conservation Trust was established in 1984 for the purpose of preserving open space and other natural resources. Westford is a beautiful town and is committed to a balance between development and conservation. The calendar was prepared to illustrate some of the results of that commitment.
The Westford Conservation Trust is a not for profit, volunteer organization that is supported solely by private contributions.

The Slifer property was acquired by the town of Westford in 1987. Once formally landscaped, the property still features a variety of flowers and ornamental trees, including huge, must-see rhododendrons that are in full bloom late May - June. The Slifer Conservation Land is located at the corner of Keyes and Gould Roads. The entrance, marked by three stone pillars, is on Keyes Road.
Let us first be as simple and well as Nature ourselves, dispel the clouds which hang over our brows, and take up a little life into our pores. From Walden by Henry David Thoreau,
