I'm a retired IT executive and consultant, now working as a nature photographer and sometimes an urban street scene photographer. I show and sell my work both online and locally in galleries and and art shows.

An important ongoing project for me is the capture of the beauty of open space and conservation areas of Westford Massachusetts, attempting to document the natural splendor found close to home. My Westford photos are featured in the 2006 and 2007 calendars that the Westford Conservation Trust published under my direction as designer. We hope that the photos continue to show a glimpse of the natural beauty of our town.

During May - June 2006 I had a one person exhibit up at the Parish Center for the Arts in Westford. It was a pleasure to exhibit 27 large prints in a beautiful gallery space and I thank the managers of the Parish center for the opportunity they gave me. The gallery is continuing to afford me the opportunity to show my work. In 2007 I was part of a group show with two other artists. We called our show "Westford Eyes." I showed 15 of my city scapes and street photos; mostly black and white this time. They contrasted nicely with the water colors and acrylics offered by Gail Flannery and Alice Phalen -- - two wonderful Westford artists.

My photographic heros include the recently departed Henri Cartier-Bresson, the French Photo Journalist who coined the term "The Decisive Moment" and Joel Meyerowitz (very much alive) of "Cape Light" fame. Joel started out as a street photographer then became famous for his landscapes of Cape Cod and has since been well known as the photographer who documented Ground Zero while it was being reclaimed. I like HCB’s view – “I care nothing for photography”, he said, “it is life that interests me.” To me this says “spend your time out in the world capturing what you see and experience, keep the darkroom/computer time to a minimum." I'm a very proud father to four daughters, and a grandfather to three grandsons and one granddaughter.
